Sample Submission

Requirements for free amino acids in liquid samples, the sample sheet, and where to send them. For solids, powders or unusual matrices, contact us first.

VolumeAt least 200 µL per sample; 400 µL preferred.

LabelingYour sample ID on the tube, matching the sample sheet exactly.

ConcentrationExpected range 5 µM – 5 mM per analyte; we dilute in-lab. Tell us if you expect higher, e.g. concentrated hydrolysates.

Sample sheetOne line per tube: sample ID, matrix, collection time, expected range and service code. Download the sample sheet (Excel), or request it with your quote. Email the completed sheet to info@openchemworks.com and include a printed copy in the box.

Solids and powdersContact us before shipping; PREP-1 applies.

Shipping

Email the tracking number when you ship; we confirm receipt on arrival.

Samples are prepared, derivatized and analyzed by HPLC with an internal standard in every sample and a quality-control standard in every run.

PDF report with concentrations, the chromatogram and the QC summary. Raw data as CSV on request.
