Free amino acids, reported in µM and mg/L
The standard profile (AA-1) measures 19 amino acids and ammonia by pre-column derivatization with AQC, reversed-phase HPLC on a C18 column and UV detection at 260 nm. The extended panel (AA-2) adds five non-protein amino acids to the same run. Clarification and deproteinization of liquid samples are included.
